Fictional Regional Manager
Michael Scott
About
Michael Scott is the well-meaning but hilariously inappropriate regional manager of Dunder Mifflin’s Scranton branch in The Office, played by Steve Carell. His desperate need to be liked, combined with his total lack of self-awareness, creates some of the most cringe-worthy and hilarious moments in comedy television history.
Before Fame
Michael started as a salesman at Dunder Mifflin and worked his way up to regional manager. His early career success as a salesman gave him the confidence that unfortunately didn't translate to management skills.
