No. The original 123Movies, also known as GoMovies, GoStream and 123movieshub, was a network of unlicensed streaming sites run from Vietnam. It shut down on March 19, 2018. 123movies.us is an independent movie guide with no connection to that network or to the copycat sites that reuse its name.
What happened to the original 123Movies?
In March 2018 the Motion Picture Association of America called it the most popular illegal site in the world, estimating 98 million visitors a month. A few weeks later it closed following a criminal investigation by the Vietnamese authorities, leaving a note that asked users to respect filmmakers by paying for movies and TV shows.
