Guest Post Opportunity on 123 Movies

Would you like to contribute to our blog? If you have experience, knowledge or an interesting point of view on films, streaming or the way people choose what to watch, we would like to hear your ideas.

We accept articles from freelance writers, bloggers and film professionals, and from SEO writers, content writers and agencies who write for clients. Whether you have a practical guide, a ranked list, a careful review or a piece drawn from your own work, send us your article.

What Can You Write About?

We are interested in articles about:

Movie recommendations and lists

Best-of lists by genre, mood, decade or streaming service, and "movies like…" guides.

Reviews and analysis

Reviews of new and classic films, endings explained, themes, directors and performances.

Streaming guides

What is worth watching on Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, Peacock, Tubi and other legal services.

Genres and film history

How a genre developed, the films that defined a decade, and where to start with one.

Characters and franchises

Iconic characters, watch orders, franchise timelines and book-to-screen adaptations.

Home cinema and technology

TVs, projectors, sound, streaming devices and how to set up a better movie night.

Look through our latest articles before you send yours. We value posts that answer a question readers actually have, explain a subject clearly, or add something new to a topic we already cover, such as our guides to horror movies, the best thrillers of all time and movie characters.

If you have another relevant topic in mind, you are welcome to suggest it.

Guest Post Guidelines

To make it easier for us to assess your post, please follow these guidelines:

Relevant to our niche

The content must fit our topics and the interests of people who come here to choose a film.

Informative, with real value

The article should leave the reader knowing what to watch, or understanding a film better.

Original content

Send your own work that has not been published anywhere else.

Accurate facts and sources

Check release years, cast, directors and streaming availability, and back up statistics and claims with reliable sources.

Minimum length

Articles should be at least 800 words. In-depth guides usually work best at 1,200 words or more.

Clear language

Use a logical structure, descriptive headings and short paragraphs. Mark spoilers clearly.

Image rights

If you send images, you must have permission to use them and state any credit required.

Links and Placement

Links must support the article and help readers. Commercial links must be disclosed and marked rel="sponsored" or rel="nofollow". Publication and permanent placement are not guaranteed. Google’s link-spam guidance

What We Do Not Publish

  • Content written to place a link rather than to be read.
  • Text that has been published elsewhere, in whole or in part.
  • Anything that links to, promotes or explains how to use pirated streams, illegal downloads or torrent sites.
  • Claims about films, release dates, box office or streaming availability that cannot be verified.
  • Text that promises financial gain, or gambling content aimed at people under 18.
  • Purely AI-generated text that has not been fact-checked by a person.

Editorial Control and Unpublishing

Publication is not guaranteed. Receiving a pitch or an article is not a promise to publish it. Our editorial team assesses each post and each link individually. We may unpublish or correct material later if a statement turns out to be wrong, misleading or in breach of these guidelines or the law.

Commercial Contributions

If a contribution is sponsored, commissioned by a third party or otherwise paid for, in money, goods or services, you must say so in your first email. Such material is published only if it is relevant to our readers, and on the terms we agree in writing. Undeclared commercial content is not published, and if we discover it later, it is removed.

Rights

You keep the copyright in your text. By sending it, you give 123 Movies a non-exclusive right, with no time limit, to publish the article on 123movies.us, to edit its language and structure, and to use excerpts in our own channels. You confirm that you hold the rights to the text and any images, and that the content does not infringe the rights of others. If you later want to publish the text somewhere else, contact us and we will find a solution.

Responsibility

Articles express the author's own views. The author is responsible for the accuracy of the content. 123 Movies accepts no responsibility for decisions made on the basis of guest posts.

Personal Data

The information you send us (name, email address and any biography) is handled in line with our privacy policy and is used only to handle your contribution. The content is also covered by our terms of service.
