Looking for animated movies released in 2026? Start with confirmed studio listings rather than projected sequel dates. Pixar’s film catalogue lists Hoppers and Toy Story 5 as 2026 features. This is a focused starting list, not a complete worldwide release calendar.
Two confirmed 2026 animated films
Hoppers
Hoppers follows an animal lover using technology to communicate with animals through a robotic body. Its US theatrical release date was March 6, 2026. For the premise, classification and official materials, visit Disney’s Hoppers page.
Toy Story 5
The fifth Toy Story feature brings the toys into a story involving technology and play. Its US theatrical release date was June 19, 2026. Check Disney’s Toy Story 5 page for film details.
Which film should you start with?
If you want an original setting, compare Hoppers’ animal-world premise with the familiar characters of Toy Story 5. For a family movie night, check your local age classification, content advisory and available runtime before choosing. Do not assume that every animated film suits every age.
Sequels that belong to another release year
Shrek 5, Frozen 3 and Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse are listed by their studios for 2027, so they are not included as 2026 releases here. See upcoming animated films for sourced dates.
