A Brush with Christmas cast: Jillian Murray and Joseph Cannata
A Brush with Christmas stars Jillian Murray as Charlotte and Joseph Cannata as Wyatt. The 2022 holiday romance follows a woman trying to make space for her art while helping her family, and a visiting artist who discovers a painting she has thrown away.
Jillian Murray as Charlotte
Charlotte’s artistic uncertainty drives the story. Working at the family restaurant leaves little time for painting, and discarding her work shows how deeply that frustration has affected her confidence. The Christmas art festival makes the private question of whether she should continue creating into a public opportunity.
Joseph Cannata as Wyatt
Wyatt finds Charlotte’s discarded painting and submits it anonymously to the festival. His search for its creator supplies the central connection between the leads. The romance depends on recognizing someone’s work and ambitions, rather than only arranging a holiday encounter.
The film and its setting
The story takes place in Bayside during the week before Christmas. Great American Family’s official page confirms both lead performers and the painting’s role in the plot, and includes the trailer. This guide concerns the original television movie, not an art class or another Christmas film with a painting theme. Check the network’s current schedule directly for repeat broadcasts.
