A Lot Like Christmas (2021): cast and tree-farm romance
A Lot Like Christmas is the 2021 holiday romance starring Maggie Lawson and Christopher Russell. Jessica’s Christmas tree farm faces new competition when a large company enters her town, bringing a marketing executive whose personal appeal complicates the business conflict.
The small business at the center
The tree farm gives the romance a concrete source of tension. Jessica has to think about customers, family traditions and the survival of a business, while the newcomer represents a competitor with greater resources. The attraction matters because the characters cannot simply ignore the consequences of their work for one another.
The leads and the holiday format
Lawson plays Jessica and Russell is her romantic counterpart. The film combines a seasonal community setting with the familiar small-business-versus-corporation premise. It is a standalone television movie, so no earlier installment is needed to understand the conflict or the relationship.
Check the title before watching
A Lot Like Christmas is easy to confuse with other holiday titles beginning with It’s Beginning to Look or A Lot Like. Use the year 2021 and the Lawson/Russell pairing to identify the matching film. Great American Family’s official page includes the synopsis and trailer; its current schedule is the appropriate source for repeat broadcast times.
