The Costa Rican end-of-the-world comedy
The Costa Rican national film centre identifies Miguel Gómez’s El fin as a Spanish-language feature released in 2012. Earlier records, including the planner’s IMDb entry, use 2011, reflecting its earlier festival history. Its central pair face the apparent end of the world after Nico has already stopped participating in his own life. This is distinct from Jorge Torregrossa’s Spanish film Fin, also released in 2012, whose mountain-reunion plot is different.
