The musical cast and other Oliver Twist adaptations
This cast belongs to Carol Reed’s film of Lionel Bart’s stage musical, based on Charles Dickens’s Oliver Twist. Oliver Reed plays Bill Sikes; despite sharing the lead character’s first name, he does not play the child Oliver. Mark Lester is Oliver, and Jack Wild is the Artful Dodger. Other adaptations have different casts, including the 2005 Oliver Twist with Barney Clark and Ben Kingsley. Match the year and the musical’s exclamation mark when comparing versions.
