Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026)

Spider-Man: Brand New Day (2026) is a superhero action film. Peter Parker fights crime in New York after the world has forgotten his identity. His isolation and the demands of being Spider-Man put pressure on the personal life he has sacrificed.

Cast and filmmakers

Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. The featured cast includes Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Bernthal.

Story, context and what to watch first

This is the fourth Tom Holland-led Spider-Man film. Spider-Man: No Way Home provides the immediate background to Peter’s situation. Viewers looking for the animated Spider-Verse films should choose those separately: Brand New Day belongs to the live-action Marvel continuity.

Peter Parker after No Way Home

The new starting point is a cost Peter has already paid: the people closest to him no longer remember him. Being useful as Spider-Man does not resolve his isolation as Peter. That tension makes the film relevant to viewers following the character’s personal continuity, as well as those looking for superhero action.
