The two adult influences in Duncan’s summer
Trent and Owen offer very different environments for Duncan. The family vacation makes him feel awkward and out of place, while Water Wizz gives him room to connect with others. That contrast is the emotional center of this coming-of-age comedy-drama. It is a self-contained story, so there is no earlier installment to watch before following Duncan’s summer.
