A family thriller about an online relationship
This guide focuses on Amy Redford’s film, which premiered in 2022 and received its US theatrical release in 2023. Anna is Beth’s daughter, while Tim is Beth’s partner and a police officer. Eric’s arrival makes their relationships increasingly uncertain. The film grew from Scott Organ’s play The Thing With Feathers. It is distinct from the 1985 country-music film of the same title, which stars Jerry Reed.
