Friday the 13th: The Series — cursed antiques, cast and Jason
Friday the 13th: The Series is a supernatural horror television show about recovering cursed antiques. Despite the title, its central story does not follow Jason Voorhees or continue the Camp Crystal Lake films. The search for dangerous objects provides its recurring structure.
Micki, Ryan and the antique shop
Micki Foster and Ryan Dallion inherit a shop whose former owner sold cursed objects. Alongside Jack Marshak, they try to retrieve those objects before more people are harmed. Louise Robey plays Micki, John D. LeMay plays Ryan and Chris Wiggins plays Jack. Later cast changes introduce a different team dynamic without changing the core recovery mission.
How the episodes work
A seemingly desirable object offers someone power or an advantage, but its use demands a terrible price. The investigators must identify both the curse and the person exploiting it. That framework makes individual episodes accessible while allowing the consequences of the characters’ work to accumulate across the series.
Do you need to watch the Jason movies first?
No. Familiarity with the film franchise is unnecessary for understanding the antique shop or the three leads. The shared branding can make search results confusing, so include The Series when looking for episodes. Watch the television run in broadcast order if you want character introductions and departures to make sense. It is an adult horror show with violence, not a family mystery series.
