The Polish-German series also known as Janna
Janka is the original Polish title of the 1989 children’s series known in German as Janna. Janka and Julek lead the rival groups, while Jakub is Julek’s uncle. The rural period setting distinguishes the show from contemporary children’s adventures. A separate feature-length version also exists, so a listing labeled as a film may not contain the full television series. Check episode and language information with the broadcaster before selecting a version.
