Slime season 4: Tensura release dates, continuation and viewing order

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime season 4 began its Japanese broadcast on April 3, 2026. The official anime site, checked October 19, 2026, announces the third cour for July 2027. That continuation belongs to season four, even though the gap can make it look like a new season.

What the official schedule confirms

The January 15 announcement identified Nippon TV’s Friday Anime Night slot for the April start. The current official anime page separately advertises the July 2027 third cour. These are dated broadcast milestones, not a promise that every international service will add a dubbed or subtitled version at the same time.

Season, cour and episode numbering

A cour is a block of television episodes, usually associated with a broadcasting quarter. One season can contain multiple cours with breaks between them. Providers may use different season packaging or continue an overall episode count, so compare the actual episode title and series description before assuming a listing is missing an entire season.

Where to begin and what is separate

Season four continues Rimuru’s story after the earlier main television seasons. The Slime Diaries is a related spin-off with a different focus, while films and special animation have their own titles. The announced Clayman Revenge anime is also a separate production; it should not be substituted for the third cour simply because its promotion appears on the same official portal. Check the official global and provider pages for the version licensed in your country.
