Mariska Hargitay plays Olivia Benson, the central investigator and leader whose career anchors the series. Ice-T plays Odafin Fin Tutuola. Kelli Giddish plays Amanda Rollins. Their roles and ranks have evolved across seasons, so a character’s status in an early episode should not be assumed to describe the later team.
Carisi and the wider team
Peter Scanavino plays Dominick Sonny Carisi, whose work moves from detective duties into prosecution. Kevin Kane plays Terry Bruno and Aimé Donna Kelly plays Renee Curry.
