Story, context and what to watch first

Migration continues the family’s story from Greenland. Watching that first film gives context for the parents, their son and the catastrophe; this sequel shifts the emphasis from escaping impact to rebuilding life after it. Choose it for family-centred disaster suspense.

From disaster escape to a journey after impact

The first Greenland builds urgency around reaching shelter. Migration begins from the opposite problem: the family must leave the place that kept them alive. Keeping parents and child together in an unfamiliar landscape shifts the appeal toward a survival journey, with the ruined environment carrying the consequences of the earlier catastrophe.
